README — Secret File Explorer Secret File Explorer A small app that lets you browse your computer with a custom file explorer, pick a file or folder, and then open it in Windows Explorer with special “highlight” mode.
Features Custom file explorer (not the normal Windows one)
Start anywhere on your PC (C:\ by default)
Double‑click folders to open them
“Up” button to go back
Select a file or folder and press OK
Automatically opens Windows Explorer and highlights your choice
Instructions shown at the top of the explorer
Files SecretFileExplorer.ps1 → Main PowerShell script
SecretFileExplorer.exe → EXE version (made from the script)
How to Run If using the EXE: Double‑click SecretFileExplorer.exe
Click Browse
Pick a file or folder
Click OK
Notes Some antivirus programs block homemade EXE files.
If it gets blocked, use the .ps1 version instead.
This app does not delete, rename, or change files.
🛠️ What Each Button Does Browse → Opens the custom file explorer
Double‑click folder → Go inside folder
Up → Go to parent folder
OK → Save selection and open it in Windows Explorer
